As an
organizational affiliate of the IAGP, you are invited to send a
delegate to the meetings of the Consultative Assembly of
Organizational Affiliates (CAOA) and be involved in IAGP planning and
decision making (via the CAOA chairperson who attends meeting of the
IAGP Board of Directors, and in the CAOA online discussion group).
Each organization is entitled to one vote in IAGP elections, and
receives one copy of each issue of our publications, the Globeletter
and Forum. The organization is also listed in our Website and in the
next printed edition of our membership directory.
If your organization would like to apply to be an organizational
affiliate of the IAGP, please send the following information to the
e-mail/postal mail/fax address above. Please also feel free to contact
us with any questions and comments. After verifying all data, the
Membership Chairperson, Margarita Kritikou, will present your
application to the Board of Directors for approval. Dues for
organizational affiliates are calculated pro rata based on membership
numbers and geographic location of the organization. A detailed list

Information to be submitted by organizations applying to become IAGP
Organizational Affiliates
1. A letter of application, including the names and addresses of the
current President and President-elect (if there is one). Please also
include e-mail and website addresses if available.
2. A copy of the by-laws and charter or incorporation documents of the
organization.
3. A brief description of the type of your organization (research,
training, professional, etc.)
4. Theoretical orientation of the organization.
5. Goals of the organization.
6. Founding year of the organization.
7. Number of current members of the organization
8. Membership requirements.
9. Scientific programs and conferences sponsored.
10. Two letters of endorsement from current members of the IAGP
Organizational members may be requested to file a list of current
members with the Secretary of the IAGP annually, for use in mailings
for congress announcements. (Please do not send this with your
application.)
